It is with a heavy heart that we at Imperative Audio express our deepest condolences on the sad passing of Benjamin Zephaniah who died on the 7th December 2023 from a brain tumour, age 65. A revered figure in the world of arts and literature, whose loss will be deeply felt not only by his family and friends but by the entire arts community.
Benjamin Zephaniah was a remarkable individual whose talents transcended boundaries. As a poet, writer, musician, and social commentator, he used his words to spark conversations, challenge norms, and inspire change. We had the privilege of Benjamin Zephaniah using the Portable Vocal Booth for his recordings, and we were consistently inspired by his passion for his craft and dedication to the arts. We were honored to have him as a PVB Portable Vocal booth user. Such a great talent.
