Why do I need acoustic treatment?

Acoustic treatment is an essential aspect of any recording studio as it plays a critical role in shaping the overall sound quality of the recordings produced in the space. Proper acoustic treatment helps to control the sound by reducing or eliminating unwanted noise and reflections, resulting in clear and accurate recordings. Without this treatment, it is so much harder to make good recording and mixing decisions and will also create aural or ear fatigue.

So, acoustic treatment is as important as your microphones, audio-interface or the library of plug-ins that sit on your DAW as it helps to create a more natural sonic environment that you can trust.  .

Imperative Audio StudioPanel.

The StudioPANEL Single Acoustic Panels are comprised of high-density fibreglass backing under an acoustic core material that is finished with a bevelled edge. The use of high-density fibreglass means the acoustic panels offer up to nearly 5x times greater absorption qualities than other typical low-cost foam alternatives. They are effective from 500Hz, offer up to 0.12ms reflection time and up to 6dB noise reduction.

Simple Fixtures

StudioPanels are relatively light so can be easily attached to a wall with the concealed Impaler wall mounts (included). A hardened edge protects the acoustic components against warping and damage, so will stand the test of time providing years of reliable performance.
